clean and comfy lots of hot water for showering and a tv that worked
no decent breakfast
The rooms were very quiet, even though close to a truckstop. I was impressed with the shampoo and body wash in the shower. Having dispensers saves on cost and the environment.
I didn't like the breakfast choices, it was poor. the nost what I didn't like is that our room which is not smoking we felt very strong smell of smoke and we felt that we all smoke. we talked to front dest about it, and she said there is nothing to do, it comes from the hallway. We really were upset about it. Especially that we were with our child.
The price was and location attracted us when doing our internet search.
When we arrived and gave the hotel our Bookings confirmation number, they could not find it and told us that we had no reservation which was made 4 months earlier. Lucky, they had rooms available and we received a room for the same price as per our Bookings reservation. The halls were filled with smoke as we went to our non-smoking room. Coffee maker didn't work in our room. The general appearance of this hotel is that it needs more maintenance and upgrade. It is next door to a large truck refueling stop and sleep parking area for truckers. It has a poor drive entrance as you come through the truck refuel pump area. It is a truckers hotel and is not what we expected and should be advertised as such.
Helpful staff and well kept rooms, Microwave and Bar Fridge
the staff were friendly and helpful
it was far too smoky in the building and filtrated to the room we were assigned(even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room)
I have to say it was very clean.
The fact that it was next to the truck stop so was very busy with trucks and drivers and not the best atmosphere for kids....
it was fine.
the directions were very poor on the computor the little flying flies in the room
Young woman at the desk was very pleasant and helpful despite a gruff exterior.
non-smoking room had smokers stay in it recently and there was a fairly strong taste of smoke.
This was our 2nd stay at the inn. We had several concerns after our 1st stay in June, 2011. The inn invited us to try them again. We found everything to be fine this time. Our room was comfortable, beds were good and it was clean. The rooms have gone through some recent upgrades. Our breakfast was good. The location is close to #1 Highway and easy to access. The inn is next to a major truck stop, but our room was very quite and this was not a concern. The inn's price is very attractive.
I did like that it was right on the far east side of town which made leaving in the morning easy. The breakfast was good, except that the cream cheese and butter didn't seem to have been refridgerated though. The coffee was the best I have had in 7 days of driving.
> First of all, I booked by mistake, thinking it was something else. I > didn't like the area of town, felt a little insecure like it was a > rough area. We roasted in our room that night (# 106). Finally at 2 am I discoverd that the window opened. > There was no way to block it from opening all the way, but it was > better than having the door open and did cool the room to tolerable > levels. Also, our beds vibrated all night. Were we right over the > boiler? I called the desk at 2 am and asked why it was so hot. They > didn't know why and offered another room, but I really couldn't move > with the kids in the middle of the night.
The location was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable. Very easy to navigate the city from here.
The breakfast left a few things to be desired. No fruit, yogurt cereal, porridge, English muffins, bagels, etc.
4 bedbug bites
